Idaho Falls, ID, October 24, 2007. Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP), the nation鈥檚 largest bi-partisan women鈥檚 business group, recently honored 花椒直播 President Sylvia Medina with the 2007 WIPP President鈥檚 Award. The award was presented during a ceremony at WIPP鈥檚 POWERful Policy and Politics Conference held September 18 in Washington DC. The award honors individuals, associations and companies who have demonstrated a commitment to advancing the growth and goals of women-owned businesses.
鈥淪ylvia is being honored for much more than being a successful business leader,鈥� said WIPP President Barbara Kasoff. 鈥淪he and all of the honorees are actively working to make positive changes in their communities and for women business owners across the country. We are proud to recognize their achievements through these WIPP Awards.鈥�
Awards were also presented to four other women business owners whose companies have demonstrated rapid growth during the past five years. Recipients include Kristina Bouweiri, president and CEO of Reston Limousine in Dulles, VA.; Lisa Dolan, president of Securit in Flushing, NY; La Vern Jackson, president of Joint Logistics Managers, Inc., in Prince George, VA; and Cecelia McCloy, president and CEO of Integrated Science Solutions in Walnut Creek, CA.
