花椒直播 Inc., an Idaho Falls-based environmental services company, announced it has been selected by the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (IDEQ) as the recipient of a contract for environmental remediation of contaminated soils in the Coeur d鈥� Alene Basin.
Under the terms of the contract, 花椒直播 will provide project management, engineering, and construction oversight of the Basin Yard Remediation Program.
As a result of past mining practices, soil has become contaminated in several communities within the Silver Valley. Typically, 350-400 residential and commercial properties are remediated each year totaling between 2 and 2.5 million square feet of remediation. These properties are excavated, then backfilled with either topsoil or gravel; then new lawn is planted. The costs of remediation average $20-25,000 per property.
